I have liked and known who Clapton was since my older brother got a Yardbirds Lp back in 1965.

I must be a fan because I will listen to ANYTHING that Clapton played.

From Yardbirds to John Mayall Band to Cream, Blind Faith, then Derek and The Dominoes and then to a long solo career!

Also from that era : Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Hendrix, and
John Lennon.

But if you asked me who I prefer more, BB King or Clapton, then it would be BB King, whom Eric considers to be the greatest guitar player.
