Let's not forget "Ape", best friend & confidant of GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE, who had a British accent back in 1968! (Alan Moore would appear to be a Jay Ward fan!) When Disney did their live-action film (which, surprisingly, was a better "Tarzan" film than most REAL Tarzan films), they got John Cleese to supply the voice. GOD, I love that movie!!!!!
