I've only watched one. It's an episode where three kids narrate their interpretation of The Bat-Man. One of the kids (I think this one was a girl) describes him like the DKR Bat-Man and we see a sequence drawn in Miller style with old grey Bats and female Robin fighting the mutants. The mud fight scene from DKR was reproduced almost entirely (there was a cool line there... can't remember it right now), and it was cool seeing it animated. That's what I was reffering to when I said how seeing the Superman Moore story animated would be like.

As I recall, it was near the end of the show's run. I only saw part of it but it was the fight Mxy mentioned, with Bats and the leader of the mutants, and the classic "And I'm the surgeon" line. Timm even imitated Frank Miller's gravely, box-like penciling style. It was cool.

I said that the last thing I wanted was to see a DKR Batman personality in the Animated Series interacting with the other characters.

I was like "zuh?" I thought he meant that it was consistent and that the Animated Series (NOT a single movie) constantly had a DKR Batman. Like it was modeled after a Frank Miller incarnation.
But no, he was talking about an isolated movie type event apparently. Taking this into mind, I renue my dislike for having a Frank Miller DKR Batman show up in the Animated Series'.
