If you're like me, you hear George Carlin's voice for Ollie.

I always did, even as a kid before I knew who Carlin was. I 'heard' this sort of raspy sarcastic voice even at the age of nine.

Maybe. I need to hear his voice agian to be sure.

It definately needs to be raspy, but not as dark as Batman's. Ollie is more optimistic. That's why he never shuts up.

Again, I liked this episode, but not as much as I have the JLU episodes before it.

The thing that turned me off was this explanation of Power Girl. Though I think she's redundant in the comic books (she really is a Supergirl clone) and this explanation made sense, I didn't care for it. I'll reserve final judgement until after I see how this pans out, but for now, I'm not feelin' it.

I've seen other reviews, however, that say this was not supposed to be Power Girl, and I haven't read what the writers have said.

During that very final scene, it would have been cool to see Superboy lying on another table next to "Power Girl" or in a corner in an incubator, though. I was hoping for it.

I did like how Robert Goodman inserted the Zeta robots. I liked that cartoon.

The Question was spot on. A great combo of the original and current versions.

Q: Was Batman the only one that had a hand in choosing the replacement JLA? I remember reading that Major Disastor figured his membership was based on Superman's input.

I FINALLY saw an episode from the very begining. It was cool seeing all the heros, but it seemed like they took JSA, JLA, and probably other and threw them all together to form the new league, or reserves. It was cool though.

These episodes get better and better. I love Skeets' gag about the vase.

The only thing that saddened me was the lack of Blue Beetle... that, and the fact that the name "Skeets" has been ruined for me by rap music.

I too noticed the lack of Beetle. I was waiting for the Blue and Gold team. But the on going, Green Lantern crack was funny.

It was fantastic!
Any reservations I had about not being the big seven have been put to rest!

The characterization of the heros has been spot on! Boo$ter has never been better and it was cool for Skeets to have shown the commercial for people not familar with him!

I love Boo$ter and Question even more than ever!

only one complaint....
I really wanted to hear Vibe speak....

Yeah it does. Blink-and-you-miss cameos, GL Corp, Kyle Rayner, Orion and other heros and all those javelins cutting loose, and Luthor. Even in the end, nice little suprise.

Holy shit! I thought it would be a long time before another episode compared to last weeks, but DAMN!

And the last shot will leave someone out there very happy, that's for sure.
