This was an okay episode. I don't care for the whole time travel thing that much. I think its been too over done.

Drink to that!

This one was nothing special.

I prefer the more "street level" episodes. Saving the universe and time travel pretty much bore the hell out of me.

It's been a while since I've seen the show, but didn't Stewart have a thing for Hawkgirl for a while?

It was a joke. Funny haha.

I loved the Hal Jordan appearance. Zero Hour anyone? Oh, I gotta ask again: What comics are Tobias and the rest of them from?

Because JLU is using millions of different DC characters in each episode. Logic kind of follows that Tobias and Jonah Hex may have originated from some comic or another.

Crisis on Zero Hypertimes. I should have known this would end up a "press the history reset button" story.

I knew it had to be Vertigo. Thanks doc, I'll have to look up the title next time I'm at the shop.

Actually, Hex's first appearance was back in '72 (All Star Westerns #10 that would later be renamed Weird Western Tales and lead to his own series). The Vertigo series was the most recent and more adult run with the character.

There's a little clip of "The Cat and the Canary" over at Cartoon Network. [Guest Stars: Kin Shriner (as Green Arrow) Morena Baccarin (as Black Canary) Dennis Farina (as Wildcat)]

http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/jlu/

Then click on the picture/block with John that says:

"Justice League Unlimited
ALL-NEW EPISODES"

The little clip should start playing by itself.

Feh. I'm more interested in "The Ties That Bind". And I heven't even heard what it is yet!

Then again, it may just be the fact that BC, GA, and WC all annoy me.

That crab-looking guy in the bunch, Helgrammite's his name.

But which Atomic Skull is this supposed to be like? Does he have a voice or an origin?

I liked Bloodsport's appearance. Not sure about the Atomic Skull though, I thought they used him in JLU's premiere.

JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED UPDATE

Before he plays Mr. Fantastic, Ioan Gruffudd is playing Mister Miracle, voicing the character in an episode of Justice League Unlimited that premieres this Saturday.

Gruffudd, who is starring in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, is highlighted in "The Ties That Bind."

"It was an enjoyable experience," he said of his JLU role after a Fantastic Four press conference in October.

"All the ladies took notice of him when he came in to do the voice," Justice League Unlimited producer Bruce Timm said. "He turned quite a few heads."

Here's how Cartoon Network described the episode:

"The world¹s greatest escape artist needs help from the Flash in order to break a deadly enemy out of an inescapable prison on an alien planet."

Timm has said that Justice League Unlimited might be his last foray in the DC Animated Universe. "So this is my chance to do a Mister Miracle story ... it's going to be really fun," Timm said.

Michael Rosenbaum reprises his role as The Flash.

I don't think so . . . the armor/costume looks too bulky for Metron.
