Good. This animated universe has sucked for too long. All it's been is one big fanboy wankfest. Sometimes, on that rare occasion, it has been entertaining. But, mostly it's been crappier than the most recent Gotham Knights run.
Unfortunately, the only good animated superhero show has been the first three boxed sets of Batman: The Animated Series. When they went cheap with the animation, heavy on the sexual innuendo, and sold out to super villains for every plot, the animated universe died.
Of course, this is all just my opinion. Feel free to ignore it.

I still dont think JLU is as good as the first 2 seasons, especially not the Thanagarian invasion, but damn, its had some good moments.....

.......Like Luthor taking over the Legion of Doom, that unique Hawkman/Shadow Thief/Green Lantern twist, the Grodd vs Luthor Super-villain battle, and then Darkseids return with the power of Brainiac, swearing revenge on Earth and leading a full on Apokaliptian invasion
Unfortunately the U.S. hasn't got any of these episodes yet. Its still on in Prime-time in England, too....

Damn, it seems that this is really the final season from the way it ended spoilers spoilers spoilers I presumed the new episodes in the UK stopped because of the School Holidays and the goddamned Pokemon marathon all week [  ], so I missed most of the Darkseid invasion episode The last ep. ended with Luthor and the Legion of Doom members who stayed loyal to him [Grodd free'd, mutiny insighted] turning up at the JL Embassy and Luthor telling The League "We have problem." Caught the last few minutes of the proceeding episode. Seems Darkseid was really pummelling Superman with the power of Brainiac running through him. Then Luthor walked up to Darkseid, spat out some words. Darkseid took it as some kind of challenge and spat out his usual "Bah", "Infidel", "Whelp", stuff. Then Luthor revealed he had the anti-life equation, shook hands with Darkseid with it in his hand, some kind of sand-storm hit, and they were both gone, with Superman presuming they are both dead for some strange reason [doesn't he ever learn?] Then comes what seems to be a definitive ending, even though Timm has said he's done every season as if it were his last. The League plan to jail the Legion of Doom members who helped them out during the fight [all the ones who followed Grodd should be dead in space], to which Atomic Skull complains and says they helped save the Planet. Batman reconsiders and says Batman: "Your right........5 minute head-start" Atomic Skull: "What?...." Wonder Woman: "4 minutes 50 seconds" Superman says something about Bruce getting soft in his old age, then some cheesey music is played as most of the JLU members are seen running down the embassy steps 2 at a time, followed by Supes, Bats and WW together Ending credits are random pics of different JLU members, not a preview of the next episode Oh, and Giganta, the former Gorilla given a make-over by Grodd, kisses Flash

Patriot Act was kinda cool, the Newsboy Legion cameo was cheesy. I just watched the Deadman episode (pretty good) and the one where Flash and Luthor switch bodies. That was funny as hell. Clancy Brown imitating Rosenbaum was great.

I liked the "twist" with the Deadman ep vis a vis Grodd's master plan.
SPOILER
Grodd enlists Luthor and the rest of Society for that they think is a mind control device. Turns out, however, Grodds plan is to turn every one on earth ...into a gorilla.
Which sounds like a stupid plan, and I was thinking "that's the plan? man, what were the writers thinking?"
But in the next scene, the fact the plan was so stupid is exactly the impetutus for Luthor to betray Grodd and take over the society.
Good move on the part of the writers.

i just hope Luthor isn't being used to bring back Darkseid. Then I imagine the only way to stop him would be for Luthor to enter the source wall and obtain the Anti-Life Equation, after that he and Darkseid could vanish in a blinding light.

Finally caught up and finished the new season. Gotta say, it doesn't compare to the first two seasons of JLU. Even Grudge Match, which offered a pretty good helping of girl time and action, ended with too much cheese on top.

Speaking of cheese, I watched To Another Shore today, it was a fun one. But it had Diana (in civies) twisting around to change to her WW costume like the old Linda Carter show. Totally cheesy, but I loved it.

Saw "Patriot Act" last night. Just terrible. Terrible dialogue. Terrible use of cameo characters. I don't mind the Newsboy Legion cameo as much as I do them doing stupid shit like operating heavy machinery. Fucking stupid.

most of this season sucked. the only good episodes were the two flash-centric ones.
Even the fight with darkseid in the finale seemed pointless after the one in the Superman TAS finale.

the series finale was on tonight. It was a damn good episode. Superman was even good in it.
I'm sad to see it end.
A very fitting to one of the best shows on TV. I can't wait to get the DVDs and watch all the eposides I missed.
This is also the end of Kevin Conroy being the voice of Batman, which is also a damn shame. He had a great run.
