Can we just take a moment to cool off here? King Snarf, I'm sure no one wants to see you go, especially under these circumstances. I know I don't. But, you have to admit, your last couple of posts did sound kind of...bitter. You basically said that I didn't deserve to win and that anyone who voted for me is a moron for not seeing that. Then you kill any remaining heat on the Summer Scam thread by posting as Fans of RDCW. If Grimm/Madman is pissed about the comment, I think you can understand why - he's said more than once how much time and effort goes into these things. If I was pissed (and I'm not, never was) about your comments, I think you can understand why. Long story short: sometimes the good guy (you or I, depending on POV) doesn't get his revenge. Deal with it...do something with it that gives you heat. There's no reason why you can't. And keep something in mind: everyone here (well, maybe not Nowhereman...) has lost a big match. Or do I need to remind you about my match with LLance? The Triple Set? Getting tossed from the RwO (Snarf, I NEVER saw that coming! I actually asked if that was someone's way of asking me not to post here anymore!)? It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you spin it after the fact. If you're set on not doing this anymore, then we have to respect that decision. But it'd be a shame if you did. I didn't say you didn't deserve to win, and I certainly never called anyone a moron. It's just frustrating that while guys like you and I put a good deal of time in this (not as much as others, granted, but a fair amount nonetheless), we still come up on the short end, while people who rarely if ever post here win matches left and right.
And you said I lost, so get some heat from it. What else would you call claiming moral victory? I can't even do that now, thanks to Marcum's last post on the SummerScam thread. I certainly didn't mean to step on toes; I was using what he posted as a further springboard.
I've done a lot of spinning after losing, 'cause that's all I seem to do at Pay-Per-Views. Maybe if I created a couple dozen alt id's whose sole purpose was add votes like some others do here, I'd squeak out a few more wins. But instead, I take the high road, and rarely, if ever, use my Fans id to vote (though part of that is because I'm to lazy to log out and then back in again.)
I want to keep posting here, but only as long as it remains fun. It's starting to get less than fun.

I hope Snarf doesn't leave. We're already short of active posters in here as it is. If it will make him reconsider, I'm willing to be stripped off of the lightweight faggot title and have it given to him. The current storyline I'm developing allows for such a thing. But then again, that's probably not very dignified considering that he wants to look less wimpy and more not wimpy.
To tell you the truth, I never really cared for the votes. When I started posting here I kept losing to everybody. But who gives a fuck, really? I enjoy writing the promos and losing actually gives me the opportunity to do self-decaprating promos Kurt Angle style. And I don't know, I think that actually convinced all of my ALT IDs to start voting for me and then I started winning matches here and there. I don't care. I kind of see this as a writing exercise of sorts and I just pattern the story to whether I lost or not instead of trying to make myself look cool or unstoppable. I mean, the RDCW is like one big story and we help write parts of it, if my character is meant to look bad just to make the whole story look good - then so be it. We're playing characters here, anything negative about them doesn't have anything to do with us - except maybe in JQ's case. He's an assbag to the bone. I think it even goes through his bone so that he's an assbag from front to back....
I think Nowhereman's attitude kinda pissed you off, but then again, that's nowhereman. He's a cunt, that much is common knowledge and I don't think anybody actually believes him if he says that you're a crybaby - unless you actually prove it yourself. And here's the thing, maybe Nowhereman is also playing a character? a mean one at that. But in real life, he's actually a very nice englishman - hypothetically speaking of course, we all know Nowhereman is a cunt even in real life. Fuck you, Nowhereman!

I liked when he kept trying to smash my entrance music. The Best Buy Gift Card on a Pole Match was inspired stuff. "Joey Muumuu" always cracked me up. Extortion with the technical crew's pets...he seemed to hit a home run on all his stuff. And then his entrance for his first PPV...so over the top, I almost pissed myself laughing. Great stuff.
Thankfully, SoM still posts. His stuff, I'm not afraid to say, is great too! He even took a swipe at me after the "Oakley date" that I had to laugh at.

JQ, your topics are now in the off topic forum, where they belong. Stay with them. Joe Mama, stop giving away my secrets before I pull an ID Crisis on you. King Snarf. This is gon' take a while. I normally try not to get involved with the stuff that people have thrown out in this forum, but yes you have pissed me off. I spent damn near three hours writing that replay Sunday night, and gave you far more props than I should have from the way the votes shook down. So for you to zero in on one mistake (yes, I made a damn mistake) and cry out BULLSHIT! is insulting not only to me, but also to your opponent. Now for the last several weeks, you have seemed like you are determined to live up to the "crybaby" tag that Nowhereman slapped onto you. You're complaining that you never win, yet in recent memory I recall you winning a handicap match, as well as you being a major part of Team RDCW in the Wargames. The team that won, I might add.  And you complain about people being half timers, but you've been half timing for months! If you followed through on half the stuff you put out there, or say you're going to put out there, you could probably be infinitely more popular than you are. It's gotten so bad, that Joe Mama had to work it into the angle in a promo awhile back. And in my opinion, Joe Mama's been carrying you in your feud for the last few months. Hell, you didn't even do any in rings for the ppv you're complaining about! Not to mention keeping us waiting for weeks on end for your stipulation to be announced. We're working damn hard for this place to be fun for everyone, and to get more people in here, but this prima donna shite has got to stop. You're turning people away from you. You seem like an okay guy, but you are taking this stuff way, way, too seriously. I think you need to step back from this for a while and reassess the situation.

Gobdamnit! Can't we just have fun?!  Listen, due to a collective set of circumstances, I'm not in the mood to put up with this shit. The voting was put in place because everyone who wanted to do this when I originally started it didn't want to help contribute by working out their matches. That would have left me (and it was just me at the time) to coordinate angles, book matches and their outcomes, do the play by play, AND act as GM in the threads. It just wasn't worth all the time and effort. The voting takes a lot of the work off mine and everyone else's shoulders. No, it doesn't always give us the outcome we want; but we ALL have to deal with it. And Snarf, the way you've been acting in this and the event threads has been akin to Jericho in his WCW days. Now, either get a rulebook and play up that angle; or do something to change your gimmick. Either way I think you need to inject a bit more humor or flair into your promos because some of them seem to get bogged down with a little too much self pity that just doesn't sit well when we're having to deal with the written word here. That might be why you aren't receiving many votes. Your character just isn't coming off well in the written context. Also, concerning face/heel status. I'm letting you guys go on with what you've put down so far, but that doesn't mean that's the way it will stay. We can call for turns depending on feuds or desire to mix up the chemistry. Already my character has shifted from heel to a face and now bounces between a face and neutral position based on what needs to be done. Everyone else needs to be open to a turn and willing to make it work. Remember, stagnation is what's making the WWE product so boring. In summation, we're not all going to get everything we want. We've got to deal with that and not let it bother us. Instead, try and find a way to work with it and make it fun. Don't take it too seriously. Afterall, what we're doing here is beyond fake. It's practically non-existent.

Guys, this is my first real experience on this forum with all of you, and I would just like to say that I'm really enjoying it! I'm sure my character will have his ass kicked more than a few times. And you know what? That's fun. I like following the twists and turns of plots like these. So far, I've had a blast watching what goes on here. I guess the most important thing I learned on these boards is not only that you shouldn't expect to win them all (or for your character to) but winning them all would be really boring after a while. So I would say to Snarf that you shouldn't get so upset over what you perceive as your character getting screwed over, because sooner or later good things will start to happen and you'll (I hope) forget all about it. Just have fun, man!

Whatever floats your boat. Just find a fun way to use that. I'm working on the card for this week's Havoc. Will have it up this afternoon at hopefully around 3 (Central Time).
