50 Cent and the Game have been at odds for a few weeks as they exchanged long distance jabs but on Monday night (February 28), the beef between the two former collaborators escalated. MTV.com reports that a 24 year-old man from Compton, California, was shot in the leg outside of New York's WQHT as 50 Cent was conducting an on-air interview.

According to a post by The Game's brother Big Fase on the rapper's Black Wall Street website, The Game and his entourage were attempting to enter the radio station to confront 50 Cent but they were denied admission and an altercation ensued. According to Big Fase, a member of their entourage was allegedly shot by someone affiliate by 50 Cent and they are now holding 50 Cent responsible.
50 Cent, who was on air at the time, abruptly stopped his interview and was ushered out of the back exit of the radio station once news of the shooting reached the studio.
Before the interview was interrupted, 50 Cent explained that the Game was no longer a member of the G-Unit because he was disloyal. The rapper was referring to comments made by Game on Saturday (February 26), that he didn't want to be involved in 50 Cent's beef with rappers Fat Joe, Jadakiss, and Nas.
50 Cent also said that Game should stop saying G-Unit and added, "He thinks he's doing me a favor when he says that."
Later Monday night, shots were also fired outside of Violator Management. The company manages 50 Cent, Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, and Mobb Deep. No one was hurt in the incident.
No arrests have been made in either case.
i'm sorry but if two punk thugs cant get along what chance does the rest of the world have?

Game's never really been part of G-Unit. He was like the black kid in Peanuts/Charlie Brown. He never did much more than smile to the camera when asked.
Too bad too. His album just became available and the rumor is it's actually better than 50's.

50 Cent, The Game Call A Truce In Harlem
Perhaps selling 1.1 million copies of his new album, "The Massacre," in four days has softened the heart of 50 Cent. Or maybe he has so many feuds going, he can afford to let one go. Today (March 9), 50 Cent and the Game publicly squashed a bitter feud that erupted in gunfire last week after 50 kicked Game out of his G-Unit clique for disloyalty.
The two rappers didn't exactly kiss and make up. When they emerged before a media throng at Harlem's famed Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, both looked as if they'd been shoved into apologies by a stern mother. But they did shake hands, albeit at the end of the press conference, after speaking about contrition and the need for peace.
50 noted that today was the anniversary of the unsolved murder of Biggie Smalls in 1997, the culmination of a rap war between Biggie and Tupac Shakur that pitted East Coast against West.
"We're here today to show that people can rise above the most difficult circumstances and together we can put negativity behind us," said 50, a native New Yorker. "A lot of people don't want to see it happen, but we're responding to the two most important groups, our family and our fans."
"I just want to apologize on behalf of myself and 50," said Game, who's from the Los Angeles suburb of Compton. "I'm almost ashamed to have participated in the things that happened in the last couple of weeks."
50 presented an oversized check for $150,000 to the Boys Choir of Harlem, while Game donated $103,500. They also both made contributions to the Compton schools music program. It was not clear why Game chose that amount or whether he had been reinstated in G-Unit; no questions were taken at the press conference.
Is the truce sincere? "Of course it was genuine," said hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, who was at the event. "They stood on stage together."
"The Massacre" includes a song attacking rappers like Fat Joe, Nas and Jadakiss for making a record with Ja Rule. But 50 Cent's beef with Game was unusual because it involved a member of his own camp.
Last week, as 50 Cent was on the radio announcing the expulsion of Game from G-Unit -- apparently because Game wouldn't turn his back on some of 50s many enemies -- Game's crew rolled up to the station. Guns were fired inside the lobby and a member of Game's posse was wounded.
And that's terrible.

1.1 million people bought 50 Cent's album within 4 days of its release.
I'm sure one of those people cares.
And that's terrible.

Sharpton: Ban Artists Linked to Violence
NEW YORK Mar 8, 2005 — The Rev. Al Sharpton is putting in his two cents about the latest drama involving 50 Cent. The civil rights leader on Tuesday proposed a ban that would muzzle artists who are connected to any violent acts, denying them airplay on radio and television for 90 days.
Though Sharpton did not single out 50 Cent by name, he told The Associated Press that a recent shooting linked to a feud involving 50 demonstrated the need for such a policy.
"There's a difference in the having the right to express yourself and in engaging in violence and using the violence to hype record sales, and then polluting young Americans that this is the key to success, by gunslinging and shooting," he said........

It does not require a majority to prevail but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brushfires in peoples minds". Samuel Adams said that. Pretty deep for a guy that makes beer for a living - The Boondocks

This coming from a guy who made his career on violence, such as inciting the Crown Heights riots (while leading his supporters in chants of "Blood Sucking Jews") and faking a rape story for a fourteen year old girl in order to "get" a white Assistant D.A.
