Exactly. Solomon was supposedly the wisest man in the world, but he didn't follow his own wise advice on many matters.

Likewise, Captain Marvel may have the "Wisdom of Solomon" (capitalized "W" and everything), but he -- like anyone -- should have a certain amount of free will and can choose to ignore that wisdom to do something he really wants to do, if only he was written that way.

The Wisdom of Solomon, like the other gifts he's given by Shazam, should be used not as something that CONTROLS him but as a resource he can choose to tap or ignore altogether.
