You mentioned it's been about a year since you graduated college. Me too--a few days and I come to my one-year anniversary of being in the "real world"! Honestly, I don't know if I should be saying congratulations or I'm sorry. I went straight to work after graduation as an office manager for a small data processing company, and if you've ever seen "Office Space," you know the drudgery that my life entailed. After nine months of that, I quit and went to law school. Now my first semester final exams are upon me and I'm hating life yet again, only for brand new reasons. Nothing remotely compares to college, does it? Anyway, I just wanted to give you a shout-out. It seems like you've done quite a bit with your life, and I only hope the last year of it was more fulfilling than mine!

why thank you, dear lou. congrats back atchya! (and good luck on the finals!)

life has had its ups n'downs. currently, im workin 3 jobs, so, im focusing more-so on the downs. however, sometime this month, ill be relocating to hoboken (roboken), which is, for those of you not in "the know," a really cool place. sorta like a manhatten, nyc junior. its yuppy-like, but, its also got TONS of clubs and bars and chicks n'stuff. and, thus, when relocating to there, it'll be like going to college again. ...except ill have money this time around

Programer?
Princess you are confusing Rob with ROY BATTY!
Bobo works for McDonalds, KFC and Taco Bell, he is even featured in those "Zesty" commercials.

my princess:

welcome to the hell that is my message boards!

anywho, to recap... yeah, i got three jobs. one is as a full time multimedia / graphic web designer. the second is teaching that same information to others, wed / thurs nights. the third is, of course, as DC Comics lovable message board administrator, working for 2-4 hours on a daily basis, mostly remote, but occasionally at DC. all n'all, it comes out to be about 72 hours a week of torture and trying to stay awake. but... the teacher job dies out after next week, and soon after, im relocating to hoboken, so... at that point, i should be joyous once again!

i appreciate the cheer tho! it, at least, kept me awake long enuf t'read the post

anyway, good luck again on yer exams!!

my prince, THE franta:

actually, since being fired by my boss, colonel "llance" sanders, i no longer work at kfc.

WAZ UP??????? Man I'm tired but I'm not working 72 hours a week like SOME peoples :P Anyway why you relocating Rob and stuff, just change of atmosphere (or did you find an incredibly awesome apartment?) And after a semester you've decided no more teaching, huh? LOL I was thinking about majoring in education till my mom ended up teaching a group of first graders this year......I was in the classroom maybe five seconds before I decided teaching 18 kiddos was too much for me ;p Anyway have a nice day and I hope you get more than three hours of sleep tonight

hoboken is really justa fun place. its sorta like college for people just outta college. tons o' bars, clubs, parties, people... its good stuff all around. its expensive (which really sucks), but, y'pay for whutchya get, i spose.

im ending the teaching position for a few reasons, but most importantly, because im tired of working 72 hours a week! it turns out id be unable to continue, anyway, because of eventual scheduling conflicts, but... all n'all, it was really a huge drain on my system to be up n'goin like that all the time. no sleep and no play make robbie something something.

Hey again! I see your reasoning Rob So after finals you can get a little vacation? I've never actually taught a group of college kiddos anything but my mom is a full time first grade teacher and after teaching all day she just comes home and collapses, so I certainly can sorta understanding how straining teaching can be (add on to that two jobs and you probably live a real nightmare)! Btw sorry to harass you with like SOOO many questions and stuff but I'm just a naturally curious person (which I'm sure you never woulda guessed ;-) Anyways have a nice weekend~Elisa
