The only reason the Yanks won is because the Tigers kept swinging for the fences with runners on third when they should have been playing small ball to score runs. All they needed were two runs. Two fucking runs. And they could have had them (four hit batters), but the same fucktard "I'm gonna hit a homerun" part of the line-up came up every time to fuck it up. Same thing last night. The Tigers should have swept this series, and you know it. The Yankees did not earn these victories. The proof will come soon enough.

I've got bad news for Joe Mama. The Red Sux lost to the Rangers yesterday 6 - 5 Foulke sucks. That now makes losses 3 out of the last 4 games. It's not even the All Star break and the Sux have started their famous late year slide. Schilling is sloppy and strugling in his rehab assigments. Terry Francona's nose was given it's own zip code. And as bad as the Yanks have played this year we are only 4 games out. I have good news too though! I just saved a bunch of money on car insurance by switching to Geico!

Actually, I started with a very succinct "motherfucker" as I watched Foulke throw the game away. Then, a few minutes later, I went into full-tirade mode about Foulke's inability to do his fucking job. But that pretty much summed up my entire weekend.

Alright, admittedly I'm tres drunk, but given the shittyshitty week I've had who can blame me? That being said, I went out with my office husband tonight - a die hard Orioles fan - a good friend from the office - a drunken Irish (am I being redundant?  ) Southie who is a die hard Sox fan (who tormented me last fall, I might add) - and in our collective drunken stupor, we saw the scores for tonite - all I remembers is that the Yanks won ( ) the Orioles lost (:woo: ) and it is the first time in my life that I actually hugged a Sox fan - all cuz the Orioles lost (those gobdamnned bastards!).
Of course, we were all so shit faced that I may not have actually seen the final scores correctly, but hey...

An office husband/wife is a member of the opposite sex from the office who you hang out with the most. The three of us all hang out a lot - she's one of the few women I know who can match me drink for drink - and we lucked out cuz we all live within 10 blocks of each other, so in and out of the office we hang. I've gotten into many Yanks/Sox fights with her and he's always chiming in about his sucky-ass Orioles - to which we will stop and tell him to piss off before we start fighting again. But last night we hugged over the defeat of a common enemy...the enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that. Besides, they have cootie shots for this sorta thing, right?
