well, if history is any indicator...
the yanks win a semi-easy, moderately high scoring game in game 1
the redsox will win today, the second game, by 4 touchdowns.
then, tomorrow's amazingly different game will have the sox take a 1-0 lead into the 9th, where the yanks will rally to win 2-1.
ahh, consistency.

no, of course the patriots didn't play today. its saturday. the patriots were getting manicures.

Yanks were losing this game 5-1 then Cano hit his first grand slam and A-rod put one out his 42nd........made it 7-5 and then blew it wide open in the 9th to win this one 9-5.
Huge Win. They really needed this sweep and if things hold up they will make up some more ground on Boston. Let's keep it up.

Weird game.............back and forth all night Randy Johnson got tossed in the second and the Yanks then scored 11 runs and then Toronto came back and made it close......it's now 11-10 in the bottom half of the ninth and mariano is coming in......Yanks should hold onto win but you never know....I'm going to bed to watch the end of the game so unless Rob posts the actual final I will post it tomorrow in the morning!
