Brian Cashman and the Yankees ended all speculation Thursday
about the general manager's future with the club when it was
announced that he has agreed to a new three-year contract.
Cashman, 38, has served as the Yankees' general manager
since February 3, 1998. During his tenure, the club has won
three World Series titles and five American League pennants.
