Will watch some ST this evening.

I'm watching it now!

"Suddenly Human" was on. Eh, never cared much for it.

"Remember Me" was after that. Love that one!

The one with Tasha's sister is on, "Legacy". Never cared for this one, either.

Tonight on G 4 :

"Genesis" - Picard and Data go off in a shuttle craft in search of a missing photon torpedo, and find that, upon returning to the Enterprise, the entire crew has de-evolved!

It is ok. Sorta like a filler episode, though.

"Journey's End" - Wesley Crusher arrives aboard the Enterprise, apparently dissatisfied about..something. A native American colony is under dispute with the Cardassians. The people do not want to be uprooted after being on the planet for 20 years.

It's a good Wesley episode. It ties together subplots that were left hanging since early on in the first season.

Today on Spike tv :

"Reunion" - Keh'Lar returns...with a surprise for Worf! Terrific episode!

''Future Imperfect" - A Riker episode...pretty good one!

"Final Mission" - Wesley and Picard and some alien guy are stranded on a dessert planet. This is a very good one.

G4 had the episode where Worf meets a stranger who is very concerned that Alexander become a warrior.

Next up was an episode I don't like so I didn't watch it.

Good Episode!

"Data's Day".... A good one. I love ALL Data episodes!

"The Wounded"... Not so good, but worth watching, especially if you have nothing better to do!

I've seen during the week before this one an ep. about the hunt for the life-munching Crystal Being, "Hero Worship" which Beardguy mentioned and an ep. about an utopian society modeled around gene technology. The latter re-minded me about the one earlier ep. with society of clones.

This week I've seen:

"Ethics": Worf gets completely lame! The title refers to the dilemmas concerning Worf's wish for death aid, the risks for experimental treatment, and a visiting doctor's use of unsafe experiements on sick patients.

?: As usual I don't remember the title, Data, Troi and the Irish transporter guy gets under control of ghosts of sorts...

"The Outcast": Very good allegory about homosexuality: the J'naii have no gender, but a few do get a gender, wich is seen as an perversion. Jonathan Swift and Pierre Boullez would be proud. Oh, and Geordi tries to get a Mr T beard.

"Cause and effect": Interesting use of a "time loop", too bad 'Voyager' would overuse time travel stories later... Kelsey Grammer guest stars in the end, nothing spectacular but good.

Okay, I did not watch Next Gen last night, but have it on now...

"The Naked Now" was just on.

Spoilers!

Spoilers ahead!

This is the first season again!

Okay, so the Enterprise crew catches this disease which makes 'em all drunk. A take on TOS episode, " The Naked Time."

But it is too soon to see the crew lose their inhibitions! We barely know any of them! How can we understand and identify with them when do not know them?

Data should not have caught this disease..it was just a plot device to have him act goofy, have sex with Tasha, etc...

This is the first "Wesley saves the day" episode.

Favorite lines:

Tasha ( to Data) : " It never happened!"

Data (While putting the chips back into their proper slots to reactivate engines.) : " This will take slightly more time than we have, sir."

Data (To Tasha) : " I am skilled in multiple techniques."

"Code Of Honor" is on now. Lutan, a chief on an all black planet, kidnaps Tasha Yar.

Favorite line:

Lutan : " No treaty, no Tasha Yar, and no vaccine!"

Code Of honor is not my fav. from that season, but it is acceptable.

I feel the BEST from that season are :

The Naked Now
Datalore
Conspiracy
The Neutral Zone
The Arsenal of Freedom
Skin Of Evil
To boldly go where no one has gone before
Hide And Q
The big Goodbye
Heart of Glory
Coming Of age

Farpoint sucks! It is the first episode..in 2 parts! But it was dreadful! Thank God the series slowly improved. A friend of mine has a theory.. if a show sucks when it starts, it can only go one of two places : Nowhere, or improve a lot!

By the beginning of the third season, the show had dramatically improved.

Well the channel which airs it has one "new" ep. and one re-run every day, so I'm not surprised it has reached so far. It's indeed great! I read that you said that the two 1st ep:s were crap but I'm still sore I missed them! I didn't miss the pilot for TOS but I missed the 1st ordinary ep. of that series.

Today I saw an mostly soap-operish ep. about Worf having trouble fostering Alexander and Lwaxana Troi getting married. Not bad for soap-opera.

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS SHOW YET, DON"T READ THIS!!!!

Yesterday, " Half A Life", "The Host ", & "The Mind's Eye" were on Spike TV. "Half a Life" is where Lxwana Troi falls in love with this dude from a planet where they have to died once they turn 60. Dumb, but it makes you think, I mean, just who ought to decide when older people should die?

"The Host"... Dr Crusher falls in love with a guy who is a Trill, that is, he has a symbiont being joined with him.

This is the idea where Dax was born for DS 9.

"The Mind's Eye."... Geordi is kidnapped by Romulans who turn him into an assassin, to throw the Klingon empire into civil war, to allow the devious Romulans to take it over. A good one.

Today on Spike :

"In Theory".... An ensign falls in love with Data, who creates a program to facilitate romance. It does not work out. The cool part was that the Enterprise was caught in a space with phasing areas, which affected parts of the ship in a negative way.

"Redemption pts. 1 & 2 " was on after that. It's a good one! Worf based episode which features another glimpse of his brother, Kurn, and the KLingon homeworld.

Thus begins the fifth season.

"Hide and Q" was just on! A splendid episode! Q makes his second appearance, and is more like the way he was through out the rest of the series, He is arrogant, pompous, and more like a spoiled child than the God - like being he was in "Farpoint."

I love the scene at the end ..won't give it away, but it is the best 10 minutes of the episode, which was excellent over all!

"Q Who", " Deja Q", " Tapestry" and " All Good Things" are also wonderful Q episodes!!!

Darmok was on Spike tv today. It was the only episode I had time to watch as I was busy all day. It's one of the very best Next Gen. episodes, IMO!

How much would you risk.. to establish communications with another race? Everything, perhaps?

Paul Winfield always gave great performances. He is missed. Very few African American actors became big names, and one of the best is gone.
