About Forrest, what's interesting is Gooz's statement at the beginning of this story, when he sees Hero's face, that he would have fight with his father. Since Forrest in the scarce apparition in the Vanguard universe didn't take part in fights (unless I'm forgetting something) it means Hero has his origins in the Old MBL one. The mystery deepens...
