I love the science fiction genre. However you have to separate the good from the bad, just like any other genre.

This is more the problem than singling out one type of genre.

But sci-fi is a notoriously tricky genre.
Its never been the most popular genre amongst the general populace, and amongst the sci-fi faithful, its gotta be spot on or you've got a geek war on your hands!
