honest question:

so, retracting decisions is a nearly unthinkable act in sports. i get that. they can't just say barry bonds never existed, even if he were caught injecting tomorrow. even pete ross, the sinniest of sports sinners, didn't have his stats taken away.

and granted, its more than likely (and nearly a certainty) that the pats would have won, anyway.

but in a case like this, where a team is proven to have cheated literally hours after a win... do you think a fine is a fair-enough punishment? or do you think that the game should be forfeited?
