Finally! This has been on my netflix list for-fuckin'-ever!

Dear, sweet Harley Kwink...I'm madly in love with you. Marry me! We can go to Canadia. Or Boston or something. It'll be grand...You know the cookies are a given. They are ALWAYS a given. You could dump me tomorrow and you'd still get the cookies. Boston..shit, wherever dyke weddings were legalized. And where better to rub their little piggie noses in how bad they suck than right on their doorstep? What are they gonna do? Be jealous of you? Stare furiously at your tah-tahs? Not willingly give you cookies, but instead begrudgingly give you their cookies? Woman, time to wake up to the powers you wield - Uschi

Holy shit, this show is fucking brilliant. I didn't think that I would love a show as much as Arrested Development but this one comes damn close. It literally has had me laughing out loud. Each episode gets funnier than the last - with titles like "Mac Bangs Dennis' Mom," "Charlie Gets Crippled," "Charlie Wants an Abortion," and "The Gang Goes Jihad" you'll either find this hysterical or you will find out that you have no sense of humor. I'm buying this - its too good not to own.

Season 3 gets even better.

I purchased it store bought.

The last DVDs I actually purchased before that was Arrested season 3 or the Shield season 5.

Everything else I gets from das intertubes.

The two disc DVD set is the first two season. Season one was just like six episodes.

Just like Arrested. Damn. Why are the smartest, funniest, irreverant shows done so quickly?

This is going next to Scrubs, Arrested and Highlander seasons 4/5.

Later for us will probably be Neil Gaiman's "Stardust," which is the DVD that G-girl II got. She was assigned to read Gaiman's "Good Omens" in a comparative religions class and liked it so I thought I'd use this as an excuse to introduce her to some more Gaiman work.

Point and laugh! I'll shoot myself before I have to be put through that. Got the Planet Earth box set, Pirates 3, Hot Fuzz (which I'll watch first probably), and the two Jeff Dunham DVD's.

The music's pretty good, the little fat girl can sing, Jerry Stiller and Christopher Walkin are always entertaining and Michelle Pfeiffer's still a MILF (at least to an old guy like me). I've seen worse.

Travolta sucks, but that's usually a given these days, sadly.

Pirates 3 on Christmas Eve. Saw Sweeney Todd on Christmas, so I have to play catch-up and watch Silent Night, Deadly Night tonight.

The level of EPICness in that movie did not match the hype.

For all the bluster about the first fifteen minutes being so good, I thought the finale featuring the showdown with the invisible witch was a lot better.

Spoilers!

It's a gorgeous film with some genuinely creepy moments and a great opening and finale. Cripes, now I'm genuinely scared to recommend any films to you.

Too much "dead" time in the thing. Maybe I was a little harsh calling it "meh", but I expected more.

Watched 'The Seven Samurais' and 'Blade Runner - The Director's Cut' yesterday (December the 26th, or Boxing Day in UK). I got my dad to watch 'The Seven...' with me by telling him that the movie inspired 'The Magnificent Seven'.

'Blade Runner' wasn't as exciting as I remembered... which is odd because it's one of those movies I've considered re-watchable in absurdum (like the Dirty Harry movies or the original Star Wars). While I do consider the Director's Cut to be an improvement as so far the ending and the unicorn dream goes, I think this version over all ain't that much different from the 1982 theatrical version, and therefor a bit hyped/over-rated. A pity I don't have the 82 version to compare, especially since I don't remember Harrison Ford's narrative. Another pity is that the DVD didn't have any extra material, no commentatory, not even trailers.

Did you pick up the latest Blade Runner release - The Final Cut, which came out a week or so ago? It has a 2-disc, 4-disc, and 5-disc offering with multiple versions and a ton of extras.

I got the DVD on Christmas 2006, I just got time* to watch it.

I did see a DVD-box with all three versions of Blade Runner on a webshop a week ago, I suppose that's the one you mean. If I had the money I'd buy it.

*The only DVD-player is in the living room, and my retired dad watch daytime TV.

I thought it was fantastic - well worth the ticket price. If you're a fan of Tim Burton, it's right up your alley.

I love Burton and Depp. He's talented and I especially loved him in Sleepy Hollow. Prolly try to see it this weekend - that or Juno.

I'm gonna try and see Juno this weekend. It's been getting some great reviews and I love Ellen Page, especially after Hard Candy.

Yeah, I saw it last week and it was cute, but not nearly as good as people made it out to be.

Thought Superbad was another overhyped movie too.
