Nope, he's executive producer or something (in other words, he lent his name for the poster).

So, what'd you think of Southland Tales? To me, it seemed like a lot of shit without any real structure.

It was a fairly decent movie, but could have been stronger considering the talent on hand.
My biggest gripe is that most of the characters lacked any real "character" as such.
Only one of the "Outlaws" showed any degree of being defined, and he is the most dislikable of them all.
The others, including Bean and Dyer, just seemed to be fairly bland.

The story is vastly different to an American vigilante flick as there is some serious moral ambiguity to pretty much everything that happens in the movie, with you constantly asking yourself if there are any actual "good guys" in this film.

Overall though, its enjoyable, but should have been more than this!

Is that some kind of boxset?
If so, why the fuck is Hang em high in it?
The first three are all Sergio Leone, spaghetti westerns, and Hang em high is not!

As much as I like Hang em high, the Man with no name set was a trilogy, and that is not one of em!

I saw Casino Royale yesterday.....few things....

One of the best Bond films ever. I should never have doubted Daniel Craig as Bond because he may be the best one yet. I loved the origin story. I like how he was just trying to figure out what drink to order. Great action and mystery. I didn't see the twist at the end......I knew she was going to die but I didn't think she was bad. And lastly it goes to show you that you really should let the director make the movie he wants with the actors he wants and wait to see the final product before you say the movie will suck. I was wrong about Craig as Bond and Bale as Batman.

No, it was a Target thing. $12 for a DVD with two movies on it. There were two Clint Eastwood ones. I've seen Hang 'Em High, but not the others. I read the descriptions for the others and they blah blah Man With No Name, so I made an assumption.

"Metropolis" directed by Fritz Lang and written by Thea von Harbou.

Had Bronson not turned down the role for A Fistfull of Dollars, it would have been a fourogy ( ) with Once Upon A Time In the West as the last of the series.

What else is new?

I'm also hoping that the next Bond film will be as good as the last and not like what happened after Goldeneye.
