Good song, but I was referring to songs that played over the opening credits as the "official" movie theme. That was played during the movie as a background song, wasn't it?

I actually came close to mentioning this as the fourth but I was thinking more along the lines of the "pop" theme songs, not the "orchestral" stuff. In fact, I almost didn't mention "Dr. No," because it was also an instrumental, but figured the twangy "Duane Eddy" style guitar work made it enough of a pop song for inclusion.

Still, you raise good points and I can't really disagree strongly with any of them.

That being said, we're still talking only six good songs out of a twenty-plus film series. Not a great ratio. And certainly not a ratio that suggests Alicia Keys is wildly out of place as a performer for the series.
