I've seen the last two episodes.
I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard at broadcast TV. I didn't think a show could be this funny. The balls joke in tonights episode almost made me piss my pants. Its now a must watch.

I had to miss it so the woman could watch Survivor. Great show, I heard it was very funny tonight.

Divorce her. The shows more important than a woman. I need the first season DVD now.

I have it from Netflix right now. Great stuff. I'm going through that and season 4 of Babylon 5 right now.

I hope Fox puts Family Guy and American Dad on sunday nights. That would kick ass.

I wish it could replace the crapfest the Simpsons has turned into.

Now the show is just stupid.

fox needs to let the simpsons die. Replace it with the Seth Macfarland cartoons.

To get back to the topic of this thread, I love Arrested Development! Such a well-done show that is consistently humorous on so many levels. My favorite quote was from last week's episode where Michael's son, George Michael () admits that he's been hiding his grandfather (believed dead) in the attic (his dad thinks it's his girlfriend). Michael responds with "The mere fact that you call making love 'Pop-Pop' lets me know that you're not ready [for total honesty]." I about split a gut! Such a hilarious show!

That was funny.

I would also like to thank FOX for not putting a laugh track in this show. It would have ruined it.

Arrested Development sucks. It's as horrible as Sports Night.

You suck!

You......like it?
Posted By: Carnyfoke Re: arrested development seson 2 - 2004-12-13 1:28 PM
Don't you raise your emoticon eyebrow at me, Pariah!

As for your question: *nods happily*. I like subtle and dry humor sometimes, while at the same time liking the humor that you would find in Strangers with Candy.

AD's not funny at all. It's not even subtle!

This just appeared on TV very recently here in Australia. In the last few weeks. I've caught a couple of episodes and damn, is it funny... I want a first season DVD to be available...
What happened in the last episode of season one? I think I missed that one.

What's the matter, Pariah? Are your shoes two sizes too small?

There are some funny moments, most notably the funeral scene, mentioned above, and some of the bits with the always reliable Jeffrey Tambor.

However, to me the show is just....okay.

Both JR Ewing and Mr. Burns got shot... and we still haven't figured out who shot 'em!
