Are you kidding me? Gail Kim was a crap wrestler! The reason they made her start doing submission moves was because she fucked up every other move she tried. I remember me and Danny both tore her "talent" apart back when we did recaps. So unless she suddenly got better after we stopped recapping(read: stopped watching)--and given the WWF's track record in developing women's talent, I'm skeptical about that--you're overrating her even worse than Lita.

Nice nudity, though.

She was a botch artist. Molly Holly was a much better wrestler.

She's got nice tits, but she ain't no Takako Inoue. Or Malia Hosaka.

maybe the nudity was helping me form my opinion.

maybe she wasn't the greatest.....but I liked her for some reson. I have always thought Lita was worthless though especially now that she cheated on Hardy.

apparently her(Kim) excuse was that the ropes in the WWE had different leverage to the rings in Asia!

Apparently Takako has been touting her wares to the WWE for a while...but the WWE ain't interested! They'd rather put their money into far more worthwhile projects like the Diva search.

gail made some mistakes in the ring for sure, but her moves were prolly only second to trish. the ropes in the wwe are different from almost anywhere and she did alot of rope manuvers, which led to some fuck ups.

Lita at least is willing to take a bump (just ask Edge) but thats the reason she spends more time out of action than any other female wrestler!

I will take bsams word about the ropes as he knows more about this most of us & I gotta say you have to take into account the lack of talent she was working against!
If your opponent isnt exactly a great talent & you are not used to the ropes,and you rely on them,you are never gonna look that good!

she spent very little time in ovw, most indies use cable instead of rope in the us and canada. also the distance between ropes in the wwe is different. kevin nash and the giant all have commented on how they could step over the top rope in wcw with ease but have to push down on the wwe top rope. again indies generally use the same scale as what wcw did.

I think Jericho had some issues with the ropes early in his WWF career as well.

I'm sure RVD did as well.

I remember a coupla times the second rope gave in his matches... once when he went for his dropkick to a guy on the apron, another when he went for the lionsault. THAT was ugly; I was afraid for his health.

he slipped several time with the lionsault early on. ropes dont give you the elasticsity(sp?) that cable does.

Thats what I remember.
There were quite a few lionsault fuck ups early on!
