I give it some credit though, for a snuff film, I have not abandoned it like I did Collateral Damage. And CD had Tutturo.

I saw his Bloodrayne film - if anybody doesn't believe actors are whores, they need to see this!

What were yopu thinking, Kingsley, Zane, Madsen?

I like the IT Crowd. A lot of it makes sense if you've worked in an office. Like the Friendface episode where they're all in the same office communicating online. I've seen that at my own work. Some of the British culture specific stuff I don't get. But that stuff is limited to naming of specific people who are famous over there and not here. Overall, I think the show is very accessible to Americans. We may not be into football(aka soccer) over here, but that episode where they pretended to be football hooligans translates well to sports fans here in the US. The one where they went to the theater is my absolute favorite.

I've seen some of the Mighty Boosh. It's hit or miss with me. The one where they're stuck on the island with the coconut people is funny as hell to me. Others just seem to be weird for weird's sake.

Cool!

With the IT Crowd, I feel they always have enough material for half the season, the rest is winged.

What about the Old Greg episode of Mighty Boosh?

The Coconut(Milky Joe) episode is one of the best.

Mighty Boosh works better if you're familiar with the style of the show. I saw bits of the Old Greg episode and the coconut one in Youtube cause people kept linking to them and I didn't get what the fuss was about. Then I saw a random episode on TV and loved it. By the time I got to the Old Greg episode I was pissing myself laughing.

Haven't seen the Old Greg episode. I might just need to see if they have them streaming on Netflix and give them another shot. I do like a lot of what is coming out of this generation of British comedians though. Look Around You is pretty funny. I think the utterly dry presentation of it only helps to elevate the humor. Gareth Marengehi's Dark Place was funny as hell also. The Mitchell and Webb stuff is fucking brilliant.

What I like about the IT Crowd is that it builds on jokes and just keeps topping itself as the show goes on. Also, a lot of the humor is just about regular social stuff that isn't British specific. Like Jen having to smoke outside, the dinner party, or Roy acting like a bastard to get a date.

A gay musical called "Gay". That's quite gay. Gay musical. Aren't all musicals gay? This must be, like, the gayest musical ever made.

I just started Caddyshack on Netflix.

It is amazing how well I know this movie but still find it incredibly funny.

This was a horrible movie. Horrible.

Segal movies up to that point were very entertaining.

On Deadly Ground just sucked.

It was just a mess.

Ghost in the Shell.

Watched this on Netflix streaming. I've never been a big fan of anime.

They usually fuck it up with weird shit like tentacle rape.

I've even owned Ghost in the Shell before the DVD days and never watched it because of that type of crap.

This was refreshingly tentacle rape free.

It was also pretty fucking awesome. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I watched the Ghost in the Shell 2.0 version, it's not a sequel but a remastered copy with some updated graphics.

Very BladeRunneresque.

I checked out "The Other Guys," too. I came into it expecting the typical lame comedy but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Two best lines:

"Did someone call 9-1-Holy shit?"
and
"Gator needs his gat, punk ass bitch!"

Just watched the Godfather for the first time.

I had seen it before, in bits and pieces on TV, just never sat an watched the entire thing.

Alot of talent in that movie, and none of it really went to waste.

It from the good ol days when Al Pacino would act as anything other than Al Pacino.

I really enjoyed it.

I also rewatched Star Trek: The Motion Picture. It was really only the second time I had seen it.

It was different than I thought it could be. It certainly was what it said it was the movie version of Star Trek TOS. Which had many many moments of gayness.

In the end Star Trek was about finding strange new life, and having sex with it.

Dekker really wanted to fuck that alien.

Holy shit, this movie is funny as fuck. If you're a fan of Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) you've got to see this. If not, you might want to skip it.

Predators.

It wasn't horrible. It wasn't terribly original either.

They directly mention the first film with Arnie and reference a bunch of other action movies as in jokes.

It was an entertaining action/sci-fi flick.

I bought Smokey and the Bandit at Wal-Mart for $3 last weekend, watched it yesterday. This movie is still awesome. Jackie Gleason was a genius.
