I bought Final Destination 3 as well, but haven't watched it yet. The second one is brilliant, if for no other reason than they upped the gore and comedy because they knew they couldn't make the movie creepier than the first. It's a live-action Warner Bros. cartoon!
Speaking of which, I'm watching Animaniacs Vol. 1. It's amazing how well that show holds up

Nowhere near as good as the second, which for me was the best of the series!
Some interesting gory ways for people to die, but overall the film just lacked something!
Most interesting aspect of the DVD, which I assume is the same in other countries, is the "Pick their destiny" version of the film!
Basically, at certain points of the film you are asked to make one of two choices.
Some choices dont make a big difference, but other choices radically alter the film (such as the fact you can actually save at least one character who died in the theatrical version).
New scenes were filmed for this version!
As for what I am watching now:

I liked the First Final Destination a lot more than the second, it had a better story but I do agree the deaths were better in the second one. I've seen the entire trilogy for sale at Target for about twenty seven bucks. I'd probably get it if I had the extra cash right now.

I do pretty much ignore bonus material!
I did watch some of the documentaries on the FD3 disc, but dont remember seeing any animated shorts on it.
Maybe I just missed them or they aint on my version.

You have to remember the era...Ren and Stimpy was an edgy cartoon back when there wasn't really such things (even Simpsons hadn't really begun pushing the envelope yet). It was refreshing to wastch a cartoon cat nurture a fart like it was his only child....and Yaks are always funny!

I say you find it boring cause you just dont get what the creators are doing.
If you are more in tune with the likes of Family guy, Simpsons & Futurama etc, then so be it, but quite frankly, for me, they are the boring ones as they are too linear in their humour!

Why is it if I don't like it it means I "don't get it"? How condescending. I "get it" - the creators are pushing the envelope, etc., but I find it dull. Just because its not to my liking and I don't find it all that entertaining or funny, doesn't mean that I don't get it - it just means that we have different tastes as to what is funny.
