I just watched this movie tonight. This has got to be the most powerfully disturbing movie made that is actually good. If you haven't seen it, see it, if you have, reply.

Great movie. Unbelievably disturbing. I sat there shocked through half of the credits, then just broke down crying. Amazing film... but I'll likely never see it again.

Loved the movie... But the scene with the mom/fridge/game show was WAAAAAY too drawn out and schizo. Old people in amphetamine psychosis are scary, but seriously... the scene was fifteen minutes too long.

I'll admit. I was tempted to cry myself.
The strange thing about that is, I only cry when an animal dies in a film. But here, I knew for a fact that these people brought their misery on themselves.....And I still wanted to cry!! It's insane how much that movie drilled into my skull.

Just finished watching it. It was just depressing. A bunch of drug addicts fucking up trier lives. I don't think it was a must watch movie at all.

Shawshank is one of the most powerful films I think. Id be more enthusiastic about it if TBS didnt air it 4 times a week.
