Heightened senses - difficult to get caught off gaurd
Telekinesis - this is just a cool power
Heightened healing / healing powers - theoretically, this could keep me in the prime of life for a very long time, plus I could heal myelf (and others?)
Heightened fighting skills - is this really a power, or is this from training? either way...

I picked all of those, plus telekinesis. If I could only choose one, I'd keep the telekinesis, as it covers a LOT of ground when used well.

If I could only choose one: heightened healing/healing powers.
I would remain in my prime for a long time. In that time, I could aquire whatever skills I needed to do whatever needed to be done. Sure, other powers would be nice, but, with the time I would have, I could learn to better use whay I already have. I could also study things like magic, and various martial arts.

Well, for me, I can deal with that. It's not for everyone. But to have the chance to live almost indefinately while still in the prime of my life? That's not something to pass up. It's not immortality, but it's close enough. The problem with immortatlity is that there is no guarantee of remaining young and strong. Plus, this way, I could make sure that history is recorded correctly. And I could even have a hand in many major events, or minor events within major events. It would be really cool. Not to mention all the knowledge that I could amass and pass on.

1] No more being late
2] A moderate substitute for super-strength considering how many times you'd hit in a second and that you could probably build up power in your arms
3] Create nifty little whirlwinds with your arms to scare the shit out of people
4] Like teleportation considering you could give someone you dont like wedgie and then be right back where you originally were with no suspicion
5] Could rob banks or other installations for some quick cash with no effort or chance of getting caught
6] Could run to other countries instead of paying for costly and rather annoying plane journeys
7] Temporary Intagibility
8] Impress the ladies with special foreign chocolates and by making reservations at completely booked top class restaurants by running in and putting your name down in a blink of an eye

Is anyone aware of a webpage that has a list of super-powers followed by the super-heroes/villains who have those powers?
I'm trying to think of any stretchable characters who were created in the late 1960s or later. Every single one I can think of -- Plastic Man, Mister Fantastic, Elastic Lad, Elongated Man, Elasti-Girl, Madame Rouge, Metamorpho, Martian Manhunter -- were created in the Golden or early Silver Ages. Though I suppose some shapeshifter characters can fall into a roughly similar category (at least with Plastic Man, a true shapeshifter).

Ok. Wow. I wish I saw this sooner. My dream superpower would be the ability to manipulate individual elements at will... and mild pyrokinesis. Not real pyrokinesis, mind you, more like a little "spark." One could... make liquid Nitrogen and freeze one guy, and fill one poor fucker up with Hydrogen and use said spark... harness the corrosive powers of pure Oxygen....
