I went to my 20 year school reunion on Saturday night.
The tally:
-2 dead (one suicide, one drug overdose)
-2 in jail (one armed robbery, one fraud)
-All the chicks I liked at school at got nowhere with are fat or look like they're in their 40s. (phew!)
-5 lawyers
-lots of people went to Osaka in Japan like me, but all at different times to me, which was weird. I missed my 10 year reunion because I was in Japan, but didn't feel like I missed anything because Grosse Point Blank came out shortly thereafter and was a substitute ten year reunion for me.
It was a good night. Stayed out til 3:30 drinking beer with people I hadn't seen for two decades. Probably won't see them again for another ten years.

im sposda have my 10 year high school reunion in a few months, but... no one has scheduled anything yet. the '96 class president (whose job it is to set things up) got very fat and lazy, lives with his parents, and hasn't had a job since junior year, so nothing has been done to start it up.
i also think that none of the people i'd like to see would even be there, and all the people i don't give 2 shits about would be there.

My 5 year High School reunion came and went. A friend of mine who went said it was a lot of fun. I'll wait until the 10 year reunion. God, my next grade school reunion would probably only have 15 people there (out of 30, yeah, small class). The rest were shitheads.

The powers that be from my graduating class slacked off, so we didn't have a 5 year reunion. I imagine that the distribution of success would have had a pretty wide standard deviation.
Sometimes I wish I didn't know now the things I didn't know then.
