Okay guys, I posted.

I'm liking this story so far, but I think we as a group need to decide some things soon.

We've introduced the idea that Vanguard has landed in a 'Brave New World'. It's so new, in fact, we really haven't thought too much on what the current present and past of this world. Giant dictatorship a la 1984? Different outlook on metahumans, for better or for worse? Some sort of plauge affecting most of the population? New goverments? Granted, we still need to discover our characters' pasts, but I really think if we don't come to an agreement soon our stories are really going to stumble in the dark.

Don't get me wrong, "I'm making this up as I go along" works for Indiana Jones...but this is fiction.

The most strange occurence is that I felt the need to add a post to the MBL thread, and when finally posted it, you had done the same to Vanguard.

Sure, the end result is different, but the timing...

Yeah, I've had the urge to write something lately. But, work keeps me so busy, and cut off from the net, that I simply cannot find the time or inspiration these days. Not to mention, I think I'm incredibly and completely bored of the Vanguard/TOMB universes. However, since I cannot readily come up with anything new right now, I just shrug and walk away...

I was busy as hell up until this afternnon, when I basically finished an assignment that kept me busy for two years.

I have much time now, and would like to write.

While I am not as much bored of the Vanguard Universe as you, I wouldn't mind partecipate into something different; I don't miss the characters, I miss the writers.

Do you really have nothing new to come up with?

It's not that I probably cannot come up with anything new. It's a couple of things.

One, during the week, I am away from internet access.

Two, I am moving and getting married at the beginning of next month, and don't have alot of free time right now.

Three, I miss the enthusiasm of all the writers here. No one seems to want to write anymore, and/or, do anything different.

Four, I may...or may not....be burned out on the superhuman concepts...

Congratulation, Pro.

I didn't know you were getting married!

That shows not just how the enthusiasm is missing, but also how are we arte not in touch anymore with each other.

I don't know how much I don't chat with TTT, Gooz or Danny (well Danny I sorta chatted a few weeks ago, but just for minutes...).

What's happening...?

Actually, reading it wasn't half bad either.

Look, if we want to do more writing, I'm in...I'm just a big 'structure' fan. That's structure as in 'essential background material' and not 'Express Men'.

I'm with you on that one. I have ideas (even for some of my Vanguard U characters), but my limited Internet capabilities keep me from working with any of them. For now, a lot of these concepts will have to remain my own until I'm able to find an outlet for them somehow.

I now have time and unlimited access to the net, so I would be in for anything round robin.

Vanguard Universe, old Universe, a complòete new universe, or new concepts... space opera, western, neo-realism... I just miss the joy of the round robin and of writng with you guys...

Oh Grimm....

GRIMM!!!!

So...I'm liking this no-direction thing. Thus, I will offer no ideas about what to do, and simply write when I have time and inspiration...

The banana is not lodged deep into his arse; so, no, it isn't Rob.

I think we should have at last a day of memorial silence for Prometheus from posting in the story.

Devin, that post was beautiful. I'll post Gooz, and my, reactions tomorrow.
