"At World's End" Presale Tickets Surpass Last Year's Pirates' BlockbusterFandango, the worlds leading online movie ticket sales agent, announced that "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" has surpassed presale ticket purchases of the "Pirates'" preceding smash hit movie.
A press release is quoted as stating that the current production is, "Selling three times as many tickets as last year's 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest,' at the same point in the films' respective sales cycles on Fandango (as of May 22, 11:00 a.m. PT)."
Disney's last pirate production grossed more than one billion dollars worldwide. This current high volume sales reaction to the third pirate installment indicates "At World's End," may overshadow the previous blockbuster.
Fandango is also giving filmgoers the chance to win a Pirates' adventure to the British Virgin Islands, courtesy of Walt Disney Pictures' 'At World's End,' The British Virgin Islands Tourist Board, and Purple Pineapple Villas. The last day to enter the sweepstakes is Thursday, May 31 and entry information can be found at www.fandango.com/summermovies .
"At World's End" will open in theatres on May 25.

Saw it and Shrek 3 today. Shrek 3 was okay, funny yet predictable. Pirates was a fun movie. Lots of unexpected twists, overall it was better than 2. Barbosa kicks ass, Kiera Knightly is fucking hot, spoilers.
