Results courtesy of PWTorch (direct link to Caldwell's coverage) or to avoid pop-ups, go to Neo-Geo Forum: Official WWE Thread Post #6814 and posts thereafter.

1 -- RANDY ORTON vs. ROB VAN DAM -- Stretcher match
WINNER: RVD in 15:00. A surprise match finish, but the end result was what we all expected for RVD. A good match with plenty of action and an easy storyline to follow. (**1/2)

2 -- THE SANDMAN & TOMMY DREAMER & C.M. PUNK vs. ELIJAH BURKE & MARCUS COR VON & MATT STRIKER -- Tables match
WINNERS: Punk & Dreamer & Sandman in 8:00. Nice match. Definitely a brawl, but it was kept in control and there was space in between each highspot so it didn't all run together. Nice finishing spot. (**)

3 -- MATT & JEFF HARDY vs. SHELTON BENJAMIN & CHARLIE HAAS -- World Tag Title match -- ladder match
WINNERS: Hardys in 17:00. Well, two ways to look at this. Tons of actions and spots and people falling and crashing and burning. Very exciting. At the same time, though, this is exactly why wrestlers are dropping like flies with injuries because of wrestlers taking too many risks in the ring. (***)

4 -- KANE vs. MARK HENRY -- lumberjack match
WINNER: Henry in 10:00. A tainted victory for Henry to keep the feud going. The lumberjacks didn't create much movement to distract from the slow match in the ring, which seemed to be their only job on the night. (*1/2)

5 -- VINCE MCMAHON (w/Shane McMahon and Umaga) vs. BOBBY LASHLEY -- ECW Title match -- Street fight
WINNER: Lashley in 13:00 to capture the ECW Title. They used enough tricks in their bag to prevent any slow points in the match, all building toward the two big moments of Lashley bashing Vince's head in and scoring the pin to capture the ECW Title. (**1/4)

6 -- CANDICE MICHELLE vs. MELINA -- non-title pudding match
WINNER: Candice via submission in 3:00. This got old real quick. (n/a)

7 -- EDGE vs. BATISTA -- World Hvt. Title match -- cage match
WINNER: Edge in 16:00 to retain the World Hvt. Title. Slow 10 minutes, but a very dramatic final five or six minutes. Batista keeps chasing the belt, and Edge picks up a credibility-boosting victory. Batista was either doing a heck of a sell job with the right arm or his arm was messed up on the double spear collision in center ring. (***)

8 -- JOHN CENA vs. GREAT KHALI (w/Translator Guy) -- WWE Title match -- Falls Count Anywhere
WINNER: Cena in 10:00 to retain the WWE Title. From the TNA main event formula of a walking brawl through the crowd and to the stage area. Match reminded me of the Cena vs. JBL "I Quit" match at Judgment Day 2005 with the props used near the stage. They built up to that FU for so long that it was a nice pay off for Cena fans. Could have used a few more minutes out of good faith to Cena and Khali, who both proved they could have a good match last month. (**1/2)

I watched this.

Some of it was good, some of it was god awful!

I think the comment in that review about the ladder match being why so many people are out injured.
Funny, cause most of the people who are out are not risk takers and high flyers!

And of those that are high flyers and risk takers (Helms, HBK, Mysterio & Kennedy), only one of them was really down to high risk moves.
Mysterios knees are an old injury, as is HBKs & Kennedys injury wasnt high risk.
Only Helms could be said to have suffered a high risk injury!

the E's clamped down so hard on the "high risk" style, that there is no possible way anyone can actually use that as an argument for injuries. fact is, most of the injured wrestlers aren't "high risk" guys. UT, Booker, the guys already listed, etc.

whoever writes these reviews is full of shit. as evidenced by their claim that "Cena and Khali have proved they can have a good match".

If high risk moves are the cause of all the injuries, why are guys like Kendrick, London, The Hardys, RVD and Jimmy Wang Yang not the ones on the injury list?

You only have to look at the injuries list over the last few years, and most of them have been guys who are more bulky, which would suggest weakened muscles through either steroid abuse or just the fact that overly muscled people end up being fragile (a reason a guy I know who is/was a wrestler, has recently quit wrestling as he has a body builders physique, and he freely admits that it makes him prone to injury).

Plus, factor in the fact there were less injuries during the attitude era, when high risk was at its peak, and you can see how much bullshit some people believe.

Booker, HHH, HBK & Taker are not young guys anymore, so is it any wonder they are gonna start suffering more!
