It was more of a daring movie than a good movie. The first 40 minutes or so were absolutely brilliant and fun as hell but after that it kinda became a message movie and wasn't up to pixars usual quality. Its definitely worth watching but don't expect anything great from the last half.
The animation was shockingly well done. But that's what Pixar does best. Its also their first movie to use live action which I really didn't care for. It kinda took me out of the movie.
When Pixar was first formed the original creators came up with ideas for all the movies they wanted to make. This was the last of those. It will be interesting to see how Pixar follows up with movies they thought up after the initial batch.
