Anyone else reading this? I checked out an issue at the bookstore just to see what's going on.
The small story: Norman Osborn is back at the top, leading the Thunderbolts against a framed Spider-Man. Venom is included in the bunch. Eddie Brock's story is interesting. He recovers completely from cancer and the symbiote. Only to have an unfortunate run in with the new Venom. The result is part of the Venom symbiote bonding with Brock to create the Anti-Venom. JRjr draws this one, poorly. His style really doesn't work. It's like current John Byrne art, everyone looks similar and characters don't jump out at you. He used to be better.
The bigger story: Pete, in thought boxes, makes a lot of comments about things that have gone on before. Stuff like "He doesn't remember anymore, he doesn't know I'm Spider-Man, everything we did is still up and running". I may have to get caught up with Brand New Day. The mindwipe wasn't just a done-and-over storyline after all.
