A 71-year-old US man who was admitted to hospital with abdominal pains was told by doctors that he was pregnant.
John Grady Pippen, from Oregon, received the surprising news as he was sent home with painkillers by Curry General Hospital in Gold Beach.
Hospital staff gave the retired mechanic and logger a note saying; "Based on your visit today, we know you are pregnant."
It turned out there had been a mix-up on the hospital's computer which caused the mistake, reports Metro.
It gave the wrong discharge note to the shocked grandfather who was then dismissed from the hospital.
