Johns and Frank claim that fans know who Nightwing and Flamebird are, we just haven't seen them in a while. They're making it really obvious that the Kryptonian Nightwing is Superboy, so there's the chance that it might be a red herring (yeah, I always give them too much credit). On the other hand, if he isn't Superboy I don't know how him and whoever Flamebird is are gonna gather enough interest to get people to buy a Superman-less Action Comics.
Incidentally, Impulse will most likely be back in next month's Legion of Three Worlds.

Actually, he went back to Superboy Prime, and now they're done dancing around the name at DC. In fact, in the new Secret Origin mini by Johns, Superman is once again Superboy in Smallville. Don't know anything about the case, but I don't think they'd do that unless they could.

Bart is back in the last page of Legion of Three Worlds #3 (that's what the lightning rod in the Lightning Saga was about). He's a kid again, too. The contrast between his enthusiasm and Superboy Prime's jerkish fanboy attitude should make for an interesting dynamic, I think.
