Some of that video footage belongs in a Poledancing Special Olympics.
Other parts, while exhibiting skill, deviates from the purpose of poledancing in the first place.
The purpose is to bend over and show us the goods!

Flashdance was an unspectacular movie with a really good soundtrack. But still entertaining and fun. Thanks for posting the nostalgic video clips. I saw it way back in 1983 when it came out!
Similar 80's movies with great music are Risky Business, Streets of Fire, Footloose, Top Gun, and Dirty Dancing. Although a hot sexy Jennifer Beals strutting her stuff made Flashdance a breakout film when it was released.
