Tonight we had a flyer placed on my door that says "several tenants have complained that you haven't been picking up all your dog poop. Please clean up after your dog."
A. That's bullshit. My dog takes a dump every night between 10-12 and I clean it up every morning around 7:00.
B. We didn't get any next door tenants until a week ago. Gee, I wonder who's complaining?
C. The dogs leash is 5 feet. My back property extends 15 feet in all directions before it hits the neighbors. My dog can shit anywhere in that 15 feet it wants as long as I clean it, which I do.
D. Why is the new neighbor roaming around my yard between 12-7 am? My dogs gone ballistic at 4 am. I thought it was a cat roaming around...
E. New neighbor was bitching about how I got grandfathered before the complex was sold and can have a dog over 25 pounds while he has to get a littler ankle biter.
Either my new neighbors a dick, or my new landlord is trying to force us out. Probably both. Either way I wish my wife had listened to me and let me buy a house. I fucking hate it here.

But, I hear you. I was resistant to buying a house, too. In the end, I listened to my wife. Turns out, owning isn't that bad. Expensive. But, pretty cool too.

We've lucked out renting here with some decent neighbors but it is starting to get to that point where it will actually be cheaper to buy a house than rent. We're still saving up for our down payment but hope to buy next year.

You didn't name it yet did you? They only smell that way so you don't eat them, and you could always just crank out a few more.

I had a talk with my new landlord. She said landscaping stepped in crap. I asked her if she was aware of the stray cats and wild animals that live in the woods behind us and she wasn't. I explained that they shit all over the right side of the building and that there's one that growls so loudly that all the dogs on the street freak out and that if she's wise she'd put animal control on speed dial.
