I heard that the G4 channel has cancelled all tech and gaming related programming because they realized that pandering to cynical, jaded geeks who already know how to get the content they want on the Internet and are just watching G4 for Morrigan Wed's boobs is no longer profitable these days. Now they're going to go for more GQ-oriented shows, because fashion-conscious women and housewives are more profitable.

The only thing I watch on G-4 are periodic runs of action movies. They had a marathon of Karate Kid movies (1, 2 and 3 from the 80's) this past weekend. I watched 1 with my girlfriend.

I'm not quite getting the "america going down like G4" metaphor.
Displaying geek-tech women's breasts in favor of fashionably-dressed housewives' breasts to raise ratings is the cultural barometer of what's destroying America?

And all this time I thought it was marxist leadership, 16 trillion in debt, lobbyists, gay marriage, and smothering regulation!
