The Joint Chiefs of Staff, the group of the most senior uniformed leaders at the Pentagon, issued a force-wide statement Tuesday condemning the riot at the Capitol as a “direct assault” on Congress and the constitutional process and affirming President-elect Joe Biden will become the nation’s 46th commander in chief on Jan 20.
The memo represented a rare step for a U.S. military leadership that has sought to keep the American armed forces out of the nation’s rancorous partisan politics in recent years. It came after a number of the rioters, who stormed the Capitol last week falsely claiming last year’s presidential election had been stolen from President Trump, turned out to be veterans of the U.S. military.
“The violent riot in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021 was a direct assault on the U.S. Congress, the Capitol Building and our Constitutional process,” the top officers said. “We mourn the deaths of the two Capitol policemen and others connected to these unprecedented events.”

The Joint Chiefs said that they witnessed actions inside the Capitol that were inconsistent with the rule of law and that the rights to freedom of speech and assembly “do not give anyone the right to resort to violence, sedition and insurrection.”
The top uniformed officers broadly affirmed that the military would continue to obey lawful orders from civilian leadership and protect the U.S. Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic, while supporting civil authorities to protect lives and property and helping ensure public safety in accordance with the law. The Joint Chiefs also called on the force to embody the ideals of the nation.
“As service members, we must embody the values and ideals of the nation,” the Joint Chiefs said. “We support and defend the Constitution. Any act to disrupt the constitutional process is not only against our traditions, values, and oath; it is against the law.”
The top officers said that on Jan. 20, in accordance with the Constitution, confirmed by the states and courts and certified by Congress, Biden will be inaugurated and become commander in chief.
“To our men and women deployed and at home, safeguarding our country — stay ready, keep your eyes on the horizon, and remain focused on the mission,” the Joint Chiefs said. “We honor your continued service in defense of every American.” The FBI, the media, all 10 living Defense Secretaries, now the Joint Chiefs? That's like Enron cooking the books, and political leadership then going after the people exposing that Enron is cooking the books.
Joe Biden's election, where they stopped the vote counting in 6 states on election night November 3rd, so they could see how far ahead Trump was, and Venezuela-like, manufacture the votes to give Biden the win by a narrow margin. Cooking the books.
These generals are just like all the former [Democrat] national security officials a few months ago who signed a letter condemning Trump over his Ukraine phone call, AND THEN IT TURNED OUT THAT NONE OF THEM HAD ACTUALLY READ THE INTELLIGENCE TO BE COMPETENT TO JUDGE IT.
Further cooking the books: the FBI had Hunter Biden's laptop computer in Dec 2019, and just sat on it for all those months during the impeachment, and EVEN AFTER the guy who gave it to the FBI went public a year later in October 2020, the FBI still have done their damnedest not to release it.
Only what has been leaked IN SPITE OF the Democrat-weaponized FBI, by other sources, has been made public. And the FBI and Democrat/Left have done their best to destroy the business and life of the guy who revealed the truth. Further cooking the books.
Same to Rep. Devin Nunes.
Same to Donald Trump and his officials.
And now is being done to Senators Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz, and to the 150 or so other Republicans who dared to stand up for public accountability and transparency of the November 3rd election data.
All that defense officials public statement tells me is its signers want cushy jobs in the Biden administration, or to keep the ones they have and not be replaced, and to be rewarded after leaving office with high-paying jobs in the private sector... Joe, Jim and Hunter Biden-like.
It's truly terrifying that the Washington establishment of both parties, big tech and social media, the mainstream liberal media, and now the politicized leadership of our military, are all making a coordinated attack on anyone who dares to point out the facts, attack anyone who attempts to engage in a two-sided dialogue, and to ask the most common-sense questions about the visible corruption in this election. To ask about illogical politically motivated policy regarding Covid-19, to discuss the clear corruption regarding the self-incriminating e-mails on Hunter Biden''s laptop, and the wider corruption it reveals. And who attack any voice who simply tries to ask the most basic accountability questions as "inciting violence" and "sedition".
