jimmy is the first president I remember. I don't know anything about her. She seemed like a nice person.

Jimmy's clock just sped up. When he dies our current president will also be oldest president with the guy he replaced being a close second at four years younger. Bush and Clinton only a couple of weeks to two months behind that. Obama pulling up the rear with a fifteen year gap. That is ridiculous.

Sad about her passing. Long life doing good deeds for the poor with her husband. Agreed about the age thing.

Her and Jimmy Carter were married since 1946, for 77 years !

Rosalynn Carter seemed like an exceptionally nice person, and very modest, for all her stature as a former first lady. And both her and Jimmy Carter through separate charities have done great works, post-presidency.

But full disclosure, that doesn't change that Jimmy Carter's presidency from Jan 1977-Jan 1980 was an unmitigated disaster. And Jimmy Carter is I think probably relieved in his twilight years, that with Joe Biden's 4 years in office, there is FINALLY a presidency that takes away from Jimmy Carter the former title of havng the absolute worst presidency of our lifetime.
But that said, Rosalynn Carter has always been seen favorably, and I like what both Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter have done post- presidency. Except when Jimmy Carter came ou of the woodwork decades after the fact to personally attack Trump and stand in solidarity with other cultural Marxist Democrats. That was neither kind, good for he nation, or good for his legacy.
But I always liked Rosalynn, she was a model first lady, and a model of charitable kindness for many decades after. .
