i think he was called "battle armor" heman -- he was a regular heman figure, but, he wore an armor "shirt." in the center (like, where superman's S shield is), there was this .... section... thing, that if you hit it once, it would flip around to reveal damage (like a skeletor sword swipe!). hit it again, and it showed more damage!! ... course, he's he-man after all, and, two sword strikes were the most he could suffer.  i also liked ram-man, just cuz he had those spring loaded feet, and could actually hop! ... til i broke'em.

I got Battle armour Skeletor, in fact I had all the Skeletors - Dragon Blast, Terror Claws & Scare Glow:The Ghost of Skeletor! I loved the bad guys! Do you remember the book that came with the Battle Armour figs? Cool story about Sorceress inventing the Battle armour for He-man, then Skeletor stole the formula! Ram Man was gay - I hated his damn arms!

Does anyone remember, back in the day, when Mattel had that "Create Your Own Figure" contest? I came up with one, just a He-Man clone really. Then, when I saw the figure that won ("Fearless Photog" was his name and he had a camera for a head), I spent, like, two months trying to track down that figure, not knowing that Mattel probably only made one for the winner. 'Cause I was stupid like that...
So maybe Fearless Photog is secretly my favorite figure...

I had a lot of the figures, but my favorites were the odd ones and the playsets...
Orko was kewl - couldn't ever get mine to spin right tho...
The bird Zoar, where you pressed it's butt and made it's wings flap...
LOVED the Greyskull with the trap door!
And the Snake Mountain with that microphone thing at the top....what was up with that?
The He-man figure where you place those caps in this back and when you twisted him to hurl a punch - it would pop REAL loud...Drove my mother insane with that one...what was the name of it?
The Slime pit was fun, too - although a little kinky now that you think about it..

I liked Modulok - the figure that was basically a box of body parts that you could put together in different configurations. There was another member of the horde that squirted water. Water-squirting toys are always fun.
By pulling a corrugated strip of plastic through a slot in the Orco figure, you could make him spin around under his own propulsion on a smooth surface. I shot mine up with an air rifle. Don't try to tell me that the annoying little bastard didn't have it coming.
A lot of my childhood toys did die in horrfic shootings. Some were also set on fire.

Yeah Modulok was bad ass, I think I still have that one somewhere. I had a few from the Horde, including Hordak, a trooper, Leech, and the eye-popping creature. I had She-ra, but she was lame compared to He-Man and the other toys. She took too damned long to change.
and Krazy, you're thinkin' of Thunder Punch He-Man. I had it, but quickly ran out of caps...my Mom didn't want to buy any more.

Anyway,I got a box full of He-Man figures in the bottom of my wardrobe.
I had all the figures up to the point when they changed their size (didnt have all the variant He-Man or Skeletor figures tho).
I loved Mekaneck (his breast plate looked like a truck)
Mossman smelled nice!
Trapjaw was cool!
Dragstor was fucking ace!
Hordak was evil as fuck!
I gotta dig that box out sometime soon!

I'm not sure if TRU would still have them, but Moss Man was in the 2nd wave of Commemorative Edition of classic figures. Course with the second coming of He-Man pretty much dead and buried, Lord knows if TRU even bothers having them anymore.
