Yeah!

Did you defeat the game on Insane yet?

WWE Smackdown - Here Comes the Pain.

I think this game's difficulty setting is broken (especially Lesnar and Goldberg, the world's strongest jew). I'm playing at easy but the cpu still beats the hell out of me. Strangely enough, I'm having more fun with this than SD vs RAW 2009.

Rockman Mega World (a.k.a. Mega Man: the Wily Wars) on Genesis

It's really too bad this was never released in the U.S. on cartridge, just on the now defunct Sega Channel. The jumps take some getting used to but the background detail is nice (especially the Ice Man stage.. wow)

There is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes, and maybe it’s too much for us, but it’s all on you. Because if we can’t protect the Earth, you can be damn well sure we’ll avenge it.

Gears of War.

I can't believe the leaps that Gears 2 made from its predescessor. Don't count on your teamates to help much as their A.I. in the first of the franchise sucks. They constantly die and I find myself killing all the Horde by myself while they run into incoming fire and yell out for assistance after 30 seconds into an assault! Not only that but your better off using the Hordes weapons rather than your Lancer assault rifle. Even the chainsaw is fairly worthless as a melee weapon. The only functionality thats better in GoW 1 than GoW 2 is the enemy A.I. on Hardcore settings. Those fuckers are smart! They'll actually distract you while one of their guys will flank you and shot gun your head off from behind! Plus it never plays the same way twice as the Horde adapts their technique to the situation This game probably plays better overall with a second player, but I give it a solid 7 out of 10.

Co-op is fun on Gears 1 & 2...the only times the AI partner on Gears 1 pissed me off, was the final boss battle with General RAAM. RAAM got that stupid fucker every time!

I never had a problem with Gears 1. I'm not a shooter fan, so the fact that this game hooked me says something.

Just finished the main game on this. I fucked Vader up big time, yo! Haven't played the second disc yet.

I only paid ten bucks more, which is cheaper than buying all the DL content that's on it.

Just finished GTA: San Andreas. I never realized how much the ending mission annoyed me until now. CJ was really impressing me until he tells Sweet that he was wrong and the hood was what he should have been focusing on the whole time. Seriously, does Rockstar actually believe that shit?

Right now, I just put in Dead Space.

Finally bought Uncharted 2. I've reached Shambala and so far it's been awesome.

The only thing I find questionable so far is the ratio of shooting segments to exploration segments.

Use the heat vision to chip away your opponent's health from across the screen. Time it to when they get up so even if they block, you're still taking away a little bit of health.

Or the "ground punch" works too if they are downed. He also has a move where he throws up enemies in the air...from there, link to another combo or something. I can't remember...linking combos is EPIC...it's been about 6 months since I've done that one.

Deathstroke is bad ass, too.

Captain Marvel is cool if you get used to his lightning based powers.
GL is cool if you can use the various ring based powers.
Flash is damn near unbeatable.

Against people, or the AI?

I never had problems against the Flash online...the better players used Raiden.

when i play against other people. when i use flash, i have never been beaten. Once i get a combo of super speed moves, they have no way of defending. In single player i have beaten them all, several times.

I'm playing Batman Arkham Asylum
Let me say this, if you are considering buying this game - stop and just go get it. I downloaded the demo just for the hell of it thinking it wouldn't be anything special. Ya, I was way off. I figured I'd pick it up way down the road when the price drops closer to 20 or 30 bucks. Well, I got lucky and found it on sale online at the microsoft store for 31 and change, thats after tax and with free shipping. Needless to say I ordered it right away and am glad I did.

The cheap price I got it for only makes it sweeter, but if any game is worth 60 bucks, this one is it. It's just a really fun, cool game to play. The controls are easy to get the hang of but they remain exciting; the upgrades help a lot in this area. The cut scenes with batman and the joker are awesome. Graphics are cool, the whole environment is looks great. It is big enough so you can take your time getting through the game to explore and find little extras like the riddler trophies scattered throughout. I've only played about 3 hours worth, and it shows I am something like 6% of the way through. I'm sure this includes finding all the little extras in the game, but I'm sure I still have a ways to go.

Long story short, get the game if you are even considering it. It is a ton of fun to play.

i am surprised its not dropped in price on amazon.com as the uk site is doing it for half price on all systems. Then again, it also surprises me how expensive games are in the US. If i buy a dvd or cd from the US it costs me less than buying it here, a lot of the time, but games cost the same or more
