No, I want the link to who ever wrote you little mini review. Everyone here knows your kind can't form sentences. Crediting the original author is the right thing to do.

I just cut out a piece of cyan and blue celophane and made my own 3D glasses for use with nVidia's built-in stereoscopic 3D. So far I've tried most of my games and found them to work, especially Left 4 Dead and Need for Speed: Most Wanted (even that gamecube emulator thingie works, Mario Kart in 3d!)

Hurts the eyes after a few minutes, though.

Oh. And. Playing Ao2: The 40th Day. Better than the original. Which I loved, despite the fact I beat it in a night... Only complaints, really, are the same as with the first. One: "Pimped" guns really don't boost your aggro enough to warrant the price tag. Two: The most expensive guns in the game really aren't very practical or effective; in fact, a fully-upgraded, albeit cheaper (base price, anyway) weapon typically performs better. That and the really expensive ones cannot be upgraded. Again.

Apparently the Japanese are eating it up like a Chinese K-Mart.

That's pretty impressive considering it's an FPS. I'm curious to see what the hubbub's about.

I didnt like it cause it just seemed too confusing, with stuff going off all over the place. The whole point is sposed to be you working as a team, but unless people have their mics on, it just becomes a typical fps with people running round doing what they want, only with shitty graphics.

Another complaint I have been reading a lot of, is that unlike something like COD, a respawn takes around 30 seconds or so, and then when you finally do respawn, you get taken out by spawn campers.

I've heard nothing but bad things about that one.

Midway made DC vs Mortal Kombat, which was a nice game, so I was surprised at first to hear about how bad iMpaCt!1! turned out...

i even take issue with the body scans. it looks to me like they scanned these guys sweating to try and make it look real the only problem is whomever did the coloring made it look as if they have horrendous freckle problems/dirt/mutated body hair.

i'm not a big gamer but the controls seem so basic and stiff like wrestling games on the NES not something as modern as the xbox360. as you say mortal combat vs dc was sweet but this is mountains of meh. i dont know if it was because this was developed as the budget tightened or not?

what is tragic is rockstar actually put in a better bid for the license from what i understand but tna decided midway's proposal to make a game was more to their liking. rockstar im sure would have put out something very innovative and out of the norm, while this is so blah.

Oh dont get me started on this game.
I bought it when it first came out, and sold it within days (luckily I did, as the price dropped dramatically within weeks).

Its one of the few PS3 games that I got rid of and have no intention of rebuying it now that the prices are coming down.

As you say, the control system was so basic, it was like going back 20 years to the days you had one button on a joystick.
The fact you also could not use any real wrestlers in the career mode was awful, and that you cant even win or defend championships in any other mode, made for a game that was so far below what people have become used to with the WWE games, that just like the tv show, it just comes across as a cheap and nasty knock off.

Oh, and they also were so fucking lazy, that all the independant companies you worked for in career mode, had 6 sided rings, which is obviously even more ridiculous when you consider that TNA used to love promoting the fact they were the only people in the world to use one.

Fucking awful game.
Even worse than Smackdown vs RAW 2008, and that was a huge pile of Snarf as well.

Finally got round to picking this up last week as I saw it for £7.99.

Have to say, like the first one it really was a great game.
Only disapointments for me though were that the bosses were easy, and got easier and easier as the game went on (I was playing it on hardest difficulty available, so will have to replay it on the tougher difficulty thats now unlocked, to see if this makes a difference), and that the ending cut seen was so short that it was tough to work out what had happened, and of course it meant the payoff for finishing the game was quite lame.

Played the demo of that.
It looks really good, but really not sure if its any good, as it just seems to be a case of 'walk around, press button when prompted'.

The way they set up the prompts during the fight scene in the whore's apartment was interesting. There was an edge to it I didn't expect. But ultimately, it felt like a sample of what feels like a series of repetitive mini-games. And I honestly don't see how they could maintain the drama and serious atmosphere with the dubbing sounding as forced as it does.

Perhaps I will rent it. But it's definitely not a game of lasting value.

That seems to be exactly what it is. It reminds me of The Sims only much more in depth. Also, Parys is correct in that the dubbing doesn't flow, it sounds forced so it kind of takes away from the atmosphere. All in all though it looks great and it is certainly a good game to play to take a break from MW2 and the like....at least until God of War 3.

But I approve of calling him Parys, because that's a very gay name.
