I think The Graduate takes top billing just because it was the first to present the MILF scenario fulfilled.

I mostly agree with 9 of them. Only the Angelina Jolie one, for me, doesn't belong on the list.

The one that stands out for me as missing from the list is Jennifer O'Neil, from the movie Summer of '42.

Another that's at least honorable mention is Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't her character childless and, therefore, the first letter of the acronym inapplicable?

I think so was Dean Wormer's wife.

I always thought of MILF as a sexy woman old enough to have children, not necessarily one who has children.

I ran across this topic again, and one that strikes me as noticeably missing is Meryl Streep, from Bridges of Madison County.














Streep was the quintessence of a MILF in this role, a modest wife just maintaining the home doing the cooking and cleaning, and in a very understated way, in doing so is just wildly sexy. A woman who's not even trying to be sexy, but unwittingly just naturally is.

I love the way she (in character) self-consciously runs her hands over the contours of her dress periodically to straighten herself and be presentable, but it unconsciously draws attention to her natural curves, and to the fact she's a beautiful woman. I thought this was a wonderful bit of nonverbal acting on her part.

It's a thrill to see Streep throughout this film, as the quiet personality of the character she plays draws you in, as you get to know her. You can't help falling in love with her a little bit.

I don't think it was established one way or another whether Mrs. wormer and the Dean had kids.

In the case of Jennifer O'Neill her not having kids was actually kind of a plot point.

She isn't a movie mom, but I got admit that I quite enjoy Wendy McLendon-Covey on the Goldbergs, especially when they put her in those 80s workout tights

The first word in Milf is mom. To me that is a sexy woman who has kids.
