I'm surprised no one used as an obituary title: THE ARTIST FORMERLY KNOWN AS PRINCE.


Like Michael Jackson, I like a few of his songs (Red Corvette, Raspberry Beret, 1999, When Doves Cry, Purple Rain) but was always turned off by his androgynous freak image.

I can acknowledge he had talent, but was never really my style. And as with Michael Jackson's death, the media coverage of his passing is way beyond what is warranted.



I also lose sympathy for the death of stars who die from substance abuse (although that is not 100% proven at this point for Prince). It reminds me of that schmuck athlete married to one of the Kardashians who passed out at a brothel in Reno, Nevada a few months ago, who was cranked up on a days-long marathon of hookers, Viagra, and other recreational drugs. While he was unconscious and almost died, the media were saying "Oh, oh, it's a tragedy..."
No, it's not!
It's a "tragedy" completely of his own making, because he was living like Caligula!

I find it hard to sympathize for people who are that wealthy and have that many options. They certainly could afford treatment and counseling before it ever gets to that point. I don't pity someone for their self-indulgence.

There's still a lot of unanswered stuff about Prince's death. But I see a lot of people theorizing that Prince died from something that a man of his age, resources, and health shouldn't have succumbed to because the religion he belongs to convinced him that he doesn't need medication (or that modern medicine is the work of the devil or something.)

If that is indeed the case, I feel sorry for Prince. He was taken advantage of. Prince can be considered gullible, but that was not enough to kill himself. Someone took advantage of that gullibility. Lamar Odom, on the other hand, is stupid and harmed himself while being wasteful in the pursuit of pleasure.

Outside of needing a blood transfusion, there's nothing in that religion that would convince him to not seek medical attention for anything that was ailing him.

What was his religion anyway?

Oh the horror. One cannot possibly oppose gay marriage without thinking homosexuals are the seed of Satan's herpes nutsack. Those people should be treated as pariahs of humanity at the least, and preferably tortured to death. Never mind the fact that a lot of his fans are homosexuals and that most of Jehovahs Witnesses consider homosexuality as level with any other sin the Bible says God hates. Sure, some rank it higher on the sins list but the it's on the same playing field in the new testament as a bunch of others. Hell, some early Christians practiced homosexuality before conversion. And I'm not talking post roman Catholicism torture conversion, I'm talking about the early years when Christians were considered a fringe dangerous cult by the Jews and Romans when being a Christian had severe punishments and death sentences.

I hope this will be a lesson for people who worship Jay-Z.

So... now there's some speculation that he was addicted to opiates and that he may have been murdered by his drug dealer.

The drug dealer sprayed some flu dust on prince.

These days you can't trust your own drug dealer.

Not all of them. There are still honest and trustworthy drug dealers out there. You just need to search a little harder and must be a good judge of character.

Now the rumor is that he had the HIV. Come on, celebrity 'news' media. Make up your minds.
