I don't fully buy the numbers sold here as absolute fact, given that it is a blatantly pro-gay perspective, being sold by two flamingly gay men, who present the facts in a way most favorable to their preconceived point of view on the topic.
But it at least gives some starting point for a discussion of the issue.
Homosexuality is more accepted and more prevalent among the younger population. Laws supporting homosexuality are more prevalent among the states with the largest gay populations, which also happen to be the most liberal states on issues across the board.
I was surprised that they say the average ratio of gays in the population is 4% (up from 2% just 10 years ago). I still, pending further evidence, would credit the number as 2%. Again, I think they exaggerate the growing prevalence to advance what they advocate as more acceptable to the general public. As with many other issues the broader Left advances, they try to project wider grassroots demand for what they want, and wear down dissenters with the notion that they are overwhelmed with pro-gay public demand, so that despite widespread repulsion or indifference, the public just accepts what they feel the majority wants (i.e., Saul Alinsky tactics.)
No wonder MEM's radical Islamic buddies hate America. Not only is the country full of homosexuals, but they are homosexuals who like to have gay sex with swine.
