Batman 66 Meets The Legion Of Superheroes In July, From Mike And Lee Allred: DC announced to camera at WonderCon (but to no one else) that Mike Allred and Lee Allred are creating a new Batman 66 Meets The Legion Of Superheroes comic book, pitting both worlds against two foes who have also found common cause

I'm up for anything Batman '66 at this point. While the art on the various books has been hit (Allred, Jonathan Case, Ty Templeton) and miss (a lot of the others) even with the camp elements, this is the closest thing to "real" Batman that DC has published since Morrison and Snyder were allowed to shit all over him.

Looks good. Wish there was a regular Legion book though.

"Real" Batman for me is O'Neil, Robbins, Englehart, Adams, Novick, Giordano, Aparo, and Rogers.
To some degree Miller with or without Mazzuchelli.
The last I really enjoyed were the Moench/Kelley Jones run.

It's been a very long time since I've read a Batman story that measured up to that standard.

I think the last Batman I enjoyed was the ones from the Brave and Bold animated series. Than again I was never much into Batman so probably missed lots of good stuff.
