It's infuriating. What Canada is doing, is what many Democrats in the U.S. would like to do, and they are back-dooring all kinds of slippery ways to ban or restrict guns in the U.S.
Such as background checks for buying ammunition. Or under Obama, buying billions of rounds for the DHS, as a way to empty the shelves and prevent gun owners from purchasing ammunition.
Or extremely costly or difficult processes in some states to legally buy a gun.
Or legally limiting the number of rounds a clip can hold. (But of course, the clips that guard the same Democrats who pass this legislation, such as Sen. Diane Feinstein, exceed that limit!)
A perfect example of how without vigilance, freedom is just one generation from being taken away. An unarmed population is so much more... compliant.
