The guy was driving around the OWS protest with a gun.

He wasn't an actual protester. Even if he was, that's still no different than the Tea Party-er's who protested at the town hall meetings after Obama was elected that were actually armed amongst the rest of the other Tea Party protesters.

Heck, Fox News called those guys true patriots proudly displaying their 2nd Amendment rights.
