I agree that Cyclops is better as a zealot than a self-doubting reluctant leader.
Magneto is clearly a good guy now - look at his reaction to the drug dealing on Madripoor, when he turns on his fawning former associates (the poor Blob really gets it). But he kind of seems over it.
