It's almost like he is playing along, and paying penance more than actually swinging "Good". he isn't evil either. He is about the Mutant cause and always will be--by any means necessary.
Not after this tpb. He tries to talk Cyclops out of recruiting a god-like mutant to the mutant revolution because he has been there and seen it fail.
